development strategy envisioned by Tshepo
Dhlamini and Mahlatse Kgosana and established
in though the following development partnerships:

Siyafunda CTC Head Office

Local Councilors and Community

1.Dialogue

-Learning is best achieved by dialogue. Adults have enough life experience to dialogue with other or teachers about a subject.

2.Safety in the environment

It’s OKAY to make mistakes!! Make people feel at ease. Control the group if there is negative comments. Learners are all there for the same reason TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE!

3.Affirmation

Praise for small attempts

4.Reinforce structure

Try to present in a structure. Explain from what they will learn and what the goal will be. Adults learn better if things are structured.

5.Practice

Practice is safe place then in a practical scenario

6.Ideas, feelings, actions

Use all three when learning.  This is when learning takes place best.
